Long-haul travelers in Kerala may soon enjoy a quick break as the Kerala State Electricity Board (KEESB) plans to replace electric vehicle (EEV) charging stations. In the new avadhaarana, you will see the introduction of coffee shops, restrooms and toilets next to the charging stations so that the travelers can make the journey comfortable by giving their own space.
According to Keesebee's estimates, there will be 15 million electric vehicles in the country by 2030. At a rate of 0.15 kilowatt per kilometer, it is expected that 2,700 million units of electricity will be consumed in each charging. This is only a matter of fact that with the pace of reduction in India, this reduction may happen even before 2030Keesebee now provides electricity to 1,169 charging stations and 485 new charging stations on electricity poles.
As soon as we get more data, more charging stations will be installed. There is a plan to set up fast-charging stations along major roads with the help of hotels, lodges, restaurants and inns. For these stations, 1000 square feet of space will be required. For setting up charging stations and solar panels, the agency will provide financial assistance for research and technology end-renewable energy resources.
Kseb is a Kerala company which has given electricity to the poles or is making charging stations on its poles so that the logs can be redirected from diesel or petrol vehicles to these vehicles or it can be used to power the cars on its long ride which can save nature.
